Plausible Business Relations

Plausible businesses, plausible relations

Payment21® will only conduct business with a client for whom it considers such business to be plausible.

In assessing plausibility, Payment21® will rely on the information provided by the client. Upon completing your online application, you may be asked to provide supporting documentation in accordance with your requested merchant account. We recommend that you submit your documents to our support department within 24 hours of your online application submission.

Payment21® requires a copy of the following for each named merchant account holder:

  1. A photocopy of one form of a non-expired, government-issued photo ID of the beneficial owner(s) of the company. Your identification must clearly indicate your full name, date of birth, and the document's expiry date. The name on the government-issued photo ID must match the name on the merchant account application. All documents that contain an expiry date must be valid, unless stated otherwise.
  2. A proof of residence (utility bill) showing your company name and address, as indicated on your application, dated within the last six months.
  3. A URL displaying the products or services you wish to sell over the Internet or in your store.
  4. A document identifying the name of the company and/or legal entity that acts as the contracting party and a document showing the name of the signing person and beneficial owner(s). A certificate of incorporation of the company is required for this purpose.
  5. A document showing the name of the bank for settlements and the name of the bank account holder. We can settle funds to a bank account in the same name as the merchant account holder only.

It is essential that you advise us in writing if there is any adverse change in the information you have provided during the approval process.
